All the key ferias in Andalucía on the 2026 calendar
Check out the biggest ferias in Andalucía this year and what makes each one worth visiting

Andalucía is famous for its ferias – its traditional, local town celebrations – and 2026 is set to be another busy year. Let’s take a look at the calendar and what makes each feria stand out.
The season gets started in early April with the Feria del Moscatel in Chipiona, known for its sweet wines, street stalls, and local music. For towns with over 20,000 residents, this is the first major celebration of the year, arriving straight after Semana Santa.
One of the most famous ferias in Spain also takes place in April, Sevilla’s Feria de Abril runs from around April 12-18. With its casetas (decorated marquees), flamenco shows and horse parades, it is the highlight of Andalucía’s festive season.
In May, Jerez’s Feria del Caballo takes place around May 5-10, a festival famed for the Andalusian horses, traditional dress, and sherry tasting. Córdoba celebrates its feria around May 29 until June 4, while Granada’s runs around May 29 to June 5, kicking off the summer season.
June continues with Algeciras from June 10-14, with a strong maritime feel that celebrates its port town roots, and Mairena del Aljarafe around June 18-21, known for local music and food. July slows down, with most activity in Cádiz province, where seaside towns host smaller ferias, usually in mid-July.
August is one of the busiest months, with Huelva’s feria around August 10-15, Málaga’s around August 12-19, and Almería’s around August 14- 21. In Huelva, you can enjoy the beachside events, Málaga’s squares are full of music and tapas, and Almería has markets with local crafts.
September peaks with ferias across all eight provinces, including Écija and Linares, while Jaén closes the season around October 7-12, with olive oil tastings and flamenco performances.
If you’re planning to go, Andalucía’s ferias are the perfect way to experience local culture, with the centuries-old traditions that make them so famous.
